Corsair Down and Badge are two new items in the Destiny 2 Forsaken that have their own complete quest in which you have to locate the dead bodies of fallen soldiers and you’ll get a Corsair Badge. Whereas Corsair down is just a random drop that you can pick it up when you hang in the Dreaming City.
We’re getting a lot of requests that what to do with Corsair down in Destiny 2 Forsaken and how to get Corsair Badge?
So, to answer these questions, we wrote this Corsair Down & Badge Guide that will instruct you to complete this quest and obtain a Badge and other additional XP points.
How to Get Corsair Down?
Corsair down is the random item in the Forsaken that you can get from entering the pursuit section of the inventory, If it’s not in your inventory then you might have to collect it by hanging around the Dreaming city and you’ll see some Corsair down items fallen on the ground.
Another way to get Corsair Down is by participating in Divalian Mist Public Event, although its drop rate is random but the chance of getting this item is more than patrolling in the Dreaming City which time-consuming.

How to use Corsair Down?
Now here comes the main objective of the quest in Destiny 2 Forsaken. When you finally got the Corsair Down and you have it in your inventory. It’s time to locate to dead bodies of fallen soldier to begin this quest.
To find the location of dead bodies, the corsair give you signs and clues about the lost bodies and you have to follow it’s signals in order to reach the locations.
First, go to your inventory and hover the mouse cursor on the item, you’ll see a description dialogue box give you clues about in a message that points that there’s a field communication device which is generating the SOS signal with a repeating message like Harbinger, Chamber, Bay, etc…
Similarly, you have to inspect every time a Corsair Down item to get the sight clues about the location you need to go.
Locations Where Corsair Down Pointing
After inspecting the Corsair down item now you have the locations to go and track down the fallen soldiers lost bodies. Here are the locations of fallen soldiers dead bodies.
1. Bay
If the field communication device sending out an SOS signal with a repeating message “something about a bay” then you need to go to the Bay of Drowned Wishes, in the Divalian Mists.
2. Gardens
If the field communication device sending out an SOS signal with a repeating message “something about a garden” then you need to go to the Gardens of Esila, the south side of The Strand.
3. Harbinger
If the field communication device sending out an SOS signal with a repeating message “repeating something about a harbinger” then you need to go to the Harbinger’s Seclude, the north area of the Dreaming City.
4. Chamber
If the field communication device sending out an SOS signal with a repeating message “something about a chamber” then you need to go to the Chamber of Starlight, the south side of Rheasilivia.
5. Aphelion
If the field communication device sending out an SOS signal with a repeating message “something about Aphelion” then you need to go to the Aphelion’s Rest in the Dreaming City
6. Spine & Mist
If the field communication device sending out an SOS signal with a repeating message “repeating something about a spine and mist” then you need to go to the Spine of Keres, the area of the northwest of the observatory surrounded by a bunch of spires and islands.
So here are all location which was clued by the device in a repeating message. You need to explore all these locations to track the lost bodies of fallen soldiers. The bodies will spawn differently for everyone that’s why we didn’t mention where it has had spawned for us, so you have to look around the particular area and you’ll found ones.

How to Get & Use Corsair Badge?
Corsair Badge is just like a Dogtag it basically has the information about the owner. So when you locate the dead bodies and interact with it. A boss will originate there and you’ll have to defeat it. Once you beat him down, you’ll be rewarded with a Corsair Badge.
You’ll be rewarded with the Badge every time you go for a lost body at each location and defeat the boss.
Now, you’ve Corsair Badges that you received from all of the locations of dead bodies. Now you need to go to Queen’s Guard Camp located near the entrance of Divalian Mist. Reach out to any of the people there (NPCs) and interact with them give them the Corsair Badge.
They will appreciate and thank you for letting them know about their comrade that they’re no more and died in the battles.
