How To Breed Villagers In Minecraft?

This is a general way to breed villagers in Minecraft, and with specific requirements, you can change the way you want to breed. But in a nutshell, you have to get two villagers in a room and then lure them into breeding by providing food supplies to them. The room should contain a bed, and when they get the food, their willingness and want to breed will automatically increase.

  1. The first step in breeding is to find a village in the game where you can pick up two villagers you want to breed and then get them in a room alone with beds.
  2. The number of beds you have put up in the room depends on how many villagers you want to breed. A minimum of three beds should be available in a room where you will lock your villagers in. They will generate according to the beds kept in the room. Thus, if you want a lot of villagers, keep the beds accordingly.
  3. Once you get the villagers in your room and become “willing” to breed, the process will start. They will only do so if the beds in the room are unclaimed.
  4. Once they are done, a baby villager will be produced, and it will acquire one of the beds. You can keep repeating until you have the required number of villagers.

How To Breed Villagers In Survival Mode?

  1. You need to find a village full of inhabitants or build one. You can make two buildings next to each other, and it will be a deemed village.
  2. The doors should be three times more than the adult villagers.
  3. Keep three beds at the minimum in the room where you will take the villagers to breed, and two or three blocks above them should be empty.
  4. You need to trade and lure the villagers into breeding, which you can do by providing them three loaves of bread, 12 potatoes, 12 carrots, 12 beetroots, and add this to their inventory and feed them.
  5. Leave the villagers and let them breed. Within 20 minutes, a baby will appear.

How To Breed Villagers In Minecraft Bedrock?

  1. You need to find or build a village in the same way as the survival mode.
  2. The doors should be three times more than the adult villagers.
  3. Keep three beds at the minimum in the room where you will take the villagers to breed, and two or three blocks above them should be empty.
  4. You need to trade and lure the villagers into breeding, which you can do by providing them 3 loaves of bread, 12 potatoes, 12 carrots, 12 beetroots, and add this to their inventory and feed them.
  5. Leave the villagers and let them breed. Within 20 minutes, a baby will appear.

The process in both bedrock and survival versions is the same, and it doesn’t matter if the two villagers you have are male or female.

How To Breed Villagers In Minecraft 1.14?

  1. Find a village or build one using the same steps.
  2. There should be an entrance door in the building with at least a minimum of three beds.
  3. It would help if you fed your villagers who are trapped in the room to increase their “willingness” to breed by providing them 12 carrots, 12 potatoes, and three loaves of bread.
  4. Once done, leave them alone, and a baby will be produced in around 20 minutes.

How To Breed Villagers In Minecraft 1.16?

  1. The same steps as 1.14 are followed where you have to build a village or find one.
  2. The doors of the village should be three times more than the adults.
  3. A minimum of three beds in the room where your villagers are trapped is required, and there should be two or three blocks empty above.
  4. Trade and lure the villagers using the same stuff as Minecraft bedrock.
  5. Leave them alone for 20 minutes, and you will have a baby.

The steps for a villager to reproduce are almost the same in each version and relatively simple. Hope you liked this guide and what do you waiting for? now you have more villagers in your village you can leverage them for your use.
