The Minecraft cliff and cave update are a newer update in the bedrock version of Minecraft, which has launched quite recently and can be played on Xbox series X, Xbox series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Windows 10.

This new update has the introduction of a lot of mobs for us. It will be one epic adventure to play with these cute little flocks of axolotls and other creatures who would be available in the game as a part of the mob. All these creatures will look super adorable from a distance but are worth enough to come in your harm’s way and cause severe damage.

Apart from the cute creatures, you will also discover and get to play with powder snow, deep slate blocks, and glow lichen, which shouldn’t be missed once you’re in the game. With the help of these items, you can go around forming spy glasses and other cool stuff. There are many new changes and updates within the game, and there is nothing that will stop you from exploring.

Minecraft caves and cliff’s part one has released many new features, and as always, Minecraft has never failed to impress the players with the exciting new characters they are introducing. They have the Minecraft axolotl, Minecraft Mountain goats, and the monster warder, which is the enemy of this version and quite annoying to defeat. One of the most exciting creatures of caves and cliffs were the Minecraft axolotls. These are the cute and small creatures in the game, which are aquatic animals and have a unique spawning condition compared to any other mob of creatures in the game.

What Is An Axolotl In Minecraft?

The axolotl are these tiny little cute aquatic creatures that are one of the best mobs of Minecraft. These pink creatures are tameable and live in the lush caves of the underwater rivers. You will find different kinds of axolotls in different colours like cyan, wild, gold, leucistic, rare blue with orange frills, etc. The behaviour of these axolotls is passive, and their health points remain 14 throughout the game.

These creatures, if bred, can provide the ability to regenerate, with which the players can improve their health significantly. They use this power whenever they are fighting with someone and when feigned death, they wait for the other creature to leave for it to regenerate and improve its health.

Where Can You Find Axolotls?

Axolotls are aquatic creatures and can be specifically found underwater only. They can spawn in the waters below the river and specifically below sea level at Y=63, where there is complete darkness and no possible light source.

Most of the time, they are found in the water, which is below the blocks, so that you can naturally spot them in the oceans where there might be an opening to a cave underwater. In these underwater caves, the axolotls are in abundance because most of their spawning conditions are met there, and they can be easily spotted.

These axolotls, after appearing in the caves, can spawn into five different colours depending on them. Once you do find them, you can carry them around in a bucket by scooping them in.

How To Breed Axolotls?

One axolotl isn’t enough, so when you actually have them at your disposal, you can quickly breed more of them. Although it isn’t too necessary to generate them in the water, if your axolotl is a baby, it is advisable to keep it in the water so as not to die.

Axolotls love tropical fish, and to breed them, you will need these. You have to lure the pair of axolotls you are trying to generate with the help of a bucket of tropical fish. When one bucket is fed to each parent, a baby axolotl is bred, and you have to then take care of it.

One notable thing is that if you have carried the axolotl in a bucket, you won’t have to worry about them despawning because you will scoop the creature up and then put it down again, making it a normal thing to do and nothing too scary. Once your baby axolotl is born, you will end up receiving experience, which will be between 1 to 7 points.

As mentioned earlier, these axolotls come in a different colour, so if you breed a baby axolotl, it will end up taking one of the parent’s colour. To get the rare blue axolotl, a mutation is done with any of the axolotl, but this still leaves only 1/1200 chance of this happening. The adult axolotls can be bred every five minutes. Still, the baby axolotls take around 20 minutes to grow up, and you can go about reducing this time significantly to 10% by feeding them with tropical fish in a bucket. If you provide them with ten buckets continuously, they won’t take as long as 20 minutes and grow suddenly.

How To Tame Axolotls In Minecraft?

Taming an axolotl is an impossible task. You can attach a lead to it and catch it in a watcher bucket. You can provide it with tropical fish and help it in breeding. But other than this, taming an axolotl entirely is something that can’t happen. Since you can’t control them, it gets tough to move them around. You can attach a lead to them and take them to the caged underwater area for them to survive. They can’t live on land unless there’s rain or thunderstorm because they are aquatic creatures.

Axolotls are cute little creatures that one should have in this game.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab one of these adorable little creatures and have epic and fun gameplay with all the exciting and magical things the world of Minecraft promises. This is one of the most anticipated and awaited updates, and now that it’s out, it’s all up for grabs.
