WoW Classic: List of World of War Classic dungeons (instances) - Here's everything you need to about every dungeon you want to raid.
WoW Classic Dungeons Levels and Instances

We are going to provide you WoW Classic Dungeon Levels and Instances List in this post. Wow Classic is a highly successful MMORPG by Blizzard. The thematic dungeons are one of the most fascinating and captivating in WoW Classic.

Back in 2005 and 2006, the instances were a completely different type of story altogether. As compared to the latest one. The social interaction and sense of community are incredible.

List of WoW Classic Dungeons and Levels (Instance) is here under and they are 20 in number. And they are:

Ragefire Chasm

  • Dungeon Location: Orgrimmar, Kalimdor (Horde Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 6
  • Instance Level: 13 to 18

This is the first dungeon that multitude of players can try out. Although it is very neat but it is essentially reserved for the crowd. The reasons are pretty obvious.

Wailing Caverns

  • Dungeon Location: Barrens, Kalimdor (Horde Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 10
  • Instance Level: 17 to 24

It is a maze-like structure and it is easy enough to be lost in the dark chambers of this instance. It could take anywhere between 2 to 3 hours to complete a single run.

The Deadmines

  • Dungeon Location: Westfall, Eastern Kingdoms (Alliance Territory)
  • Available Dungeon quests: 5
  • Instance Level: 17 to 26

The Deadmines are quite a low-level (read lowest) dungeon for Ally Players. But don’t worry it is quite a challenging one for anyone. It takes quite some time to finish it and not only that, but also the boss at the end, Edwin VanCleef, is a tough nut to crack and may make you sweat.

Shadowfang keep

  • Dungeon Location: Silverpine Forest, Eastern Kingdoms (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 3
  • Instance Level: 22 to 30

Among the lower level dungeons Shadowfang Keep is one of the better dungeons because of its position. The overall instance is quite well laid out as well. Players enter with the intention to climb to the top of the main tower by making a medieval keep. There lies the last boss Arugal.  If you are playing in alliance then you too can go there. Particularly Warlocks and Paladin as they may have class specific quests relating to Shadowfang Keep.

Blackfathom Deeps

  • Dungeon Location: Ashenvale, Kalimdor (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 11
  • Instance Level: 24 to 32

This dungeon is similar to Wailing caverns as getting inside the actual instance is darned hard. Because of that reason completing this maze is way difficult than you can think. In addition to it the mobs have an ability of disarming and the melee classes can steer clear of this dungeon. However, there are some decent drops to this one.

The Stockade

  • Dungeon Location: Stormwind, Eastern Kingdoms (Alliance Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 6
  • Instance Level: 24 to 32

This you can say is a better Ragefire Chasm, but besides being the quickest dungeons to cover it barely has any other good thing attached to it. In matters of drops there is only one boss and it drops a blue item. But if you want to do a dungeon quickly then this is the one to choose.

Gnomeregan

  • Dungeon Location: Dun Morogh, Eastern Kingdoms (Alliance Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 7
  • Instance Level: 29 to 38

This dungeon can be classified as exclusive to Ally players. Although crowd players enter go in it but it would take them ages to clear it. Troggs overtook Gnomeregan from Gnomes, and that is the reason why it is a dungeon. There is nothing cool about it except that you get to fight amny a Troggs and leper gnomes.

Razorfen Kraul

  • Dungeon Location: Barrens (bordering with Thousand Needless), Kalimdor (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 6
  • Instance Level: 29 to 38

You can expect tons of thorns and quilboar inside this dungeon. Watch your nerves though, because of some trash mobs and the design which can be quite tiring and time consuming. What is cool about it is the loot.  The loot is pretty decent a specific quest for warriors is related to this dungeon.

The Scarlet Monastery

  • Dungeon Location: Tirisfal Glades, Eastern Kingdoms (Horde Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 7
  • Instance Level: 33 to 44

This is one kickass dungeon in the entire WoW Classic. There are tons of overzealous fanatics from the scarlet Crusade, four distinct wings and an incredible loot, this one is an almost epic dungeon you can think off. Particularly in the mid-level. Also alliance groups occasionally come over there and it turns out into a grand PvP scenario.

Razorfen Downs

  • Dungeon Location: Barrens (bordering with Thousand Needless), Kalimdor (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 7
  • Instance Level: 37 to 46

It is located just opposite to Razorfen Kraul. A dark and gloomy and full to the brim with quilboar dungeon. The look and feel of this dungeon certainly not pleasant to the eyes but the last boss gives some nice loot.

Uldaman

  • Dungeon Location: Badlands, Eastern Kingdoms (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 10
  • Instance Level: 41 to 51

In the Wow’s history this is the one dungeon that has been least understood.  The reason to that may be is its vast perimeters. Also, add to it its complicated nature. And top of all things it is located in Badlands – a tricky place. But what makes it stand out is its superb loot.

Zul’Farak

  • Dungeon Location: Tanaris, Kalimdor (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 7
  • Instance Level: 42 to 46

It is located in the Northwest corner of the Tanaris desert. It is a run-of-the-mill dungeon which can be called troll-themed. Boss fights are cool, blame it on the game mechanics. Rest ther e is nothing hot about this dungeon.

Maraudon

  • Dungeon Location: Desolace, Kalimdor (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 8
  • Instance Level: 46 to 55

This one is quite appealing to the eyes. It has got some colourful visually pleasant aspects to it. It is also quite a big dungeon and it can take quite a while to cover it. But no worries the loot is quite good and it is worth the run.

Temple of Atal’Hakkar (Sunken Temple)

  • Dungeon Location: Swamp of Sorrows, Eastern Kingdoms (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 8
  • Instance Level: 50 to 56

This dungeon is inside a sunken temple. Mostly Trolls inhabit it. The entire dungeon is pretty nice . it suits well the zone that it is in, i.e. Swamp of Sorrows. There are many bosses inside it. Not only that, but also there are many loots that are available in it. But watch out, things could turn haywire during the Shade of Eranikus encounter.

Blackrock Depths

  • Dungeon Location: Blackrock Mountain, Eastern Kingdoms (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 41
  • Instance Level: 52 to 60

This one is so large that you can literally spend an entire day in it. This is one dungeon which is easily the largest of all. Many a quests are related to it and the loots in are simply awesome. Some of the loots can match even the level 60 ones.

Lower Blackrock Spire

  • Dungeon Location: Blackrock Mountain, Eastern Kingdoms (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 11
  • Instance Level: 55 to 60

This one is a vast one as well. However, it is not as large as Blackrock depths. There are a quite a lot of chances that you would get lost in it. With many levels and layers and many other things it is quite natural to guess so. If you want to enter the next dungeon, i.e. the Upper Blackrock Spire with 10-man raid you must run this dungeon. That is not all! It is tied to the key to authentic Onyxia’s raid scenario as well.

Upper Blackrock Spire

  • Dungeon Location: Blackrock Mountain, Eastern Kingdoms (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 12
  • Instance Level: 55 to 60

This one is a part of the two Blackrock Spire wings. This dungeon is quite challenging as well as rewarding. The gameplay is quite unique of this dungeon. Perhaps because of the 10-man squad required to run in it. Depending upon the individual luck players can access some quality items. But it doesn’t get as easy, the reason being wiping out in this dungeon is nevertheless quite easy.

Dire Maul

  • Dungeon Location: Feralas, Kalimdor (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 38
  • Instance Level: 55 to 60

This dungeon is large but second only to Blackrock Depths.  May be that is so because this instance is has four wings – East, West, North, and South. Each one has a unique design, bosses, mobs, loot and the lot. Besides a great loot, there are other stuff to catch on in here.

Stratholme

  • Dungeon Location: Eastern Plaguelands, Eastern Kingdoms (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 16
  • Instance Level: 58 to 60

This place is in the same place where Arthas did a mayhem to his own people in Warcraft 3. This instance is huge with two entrances. It has two wings – Strat Live and Strat Undead. The two entrances lead to these two wings. You can do both the wings. However, it is better to focus on one of them at a time. The reason being two would take hours for you to wrap them off. There is a chance for n epic mount to drop from the end boss (Baron Rivendare) at the undead side besides some cool mobs and NPCs.

Scholomance

  • Dungeon Location: Western Plaguelands, Eastern Kingdoms (Contested Territory)
  • Available dungeon quests: 12
  • Instance Level: 58 to 60

This one is a more condensed one. The crowd and the feel is similar to Stratholme otherwise. The reason for that is because it takes place in an underground school of Necrolites. It is a challenging dungeon and the loot is also pretty nice.
